Indiana Microbrewers Festival and Winterfest just took the top spots in NUVO’s Best Local Beer Fests list for the third year in a row. You may have enjoyed those before, but did you know that the Brewers of Indiana Guild’s new fall fundraiser in Broad Ripple’s Opti-Park is just a week away?
Here’s what to know before you go to Broad Ripple Beer Fest. (Don’t have your tickets yet? Get them before prices go up and they disappear.)
1. It benefits good causes.
Broad Ripple Beer Fest directly benefits our mission to support Hoosier breweries. And like all Brewers of Indiana Guild festivals, $3 from every ticket sold goes to our charity partner. We’re proud to partner with Asante Children’s Theatre for this festival.
Additionally, check out the charity games area, where keg toss, ring toss, and plinko will be run by, and benefit, Optimist Club – Friend of Youth, Indiana Coalition to End Sexual Assault, Alternatives, and Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
2. Come in costume.
3. Get the goodies.
With Halloween costumes comes trick-or-treating, of course. You’ll get a complimentary 6-pack cooler which you can use to collect candy and schwag from the brewery booths.
And be sure to break open your piggy bank beforehand (or just hit the ATM) because we’ll have plenty of great Drink Indiana Beer gear for sale, and local vendors and restaurants will offer plenty of other good stuff to purchase.
4. There will be beer.
We kicked off the Early Bird Exclusives area this summer at Indiana Microbrewers Festival and are continuing that theme of special small-batch beers in Broad Ripple.
10 breweries will pour fall-themed specialty beers for you alongside a selection of small-batch cask ales.
And the 45 local breweries and guests will have hundreds of other beers for GA ticket holders to enjoy.
Stay tuned to the website and the Drink Indiana Beer app for the list.
5. Get pre-banded.

6. Tickets are going fast for this smaller fest.
The Guild has hosted some of Indiana’s largest beer festivals for years, and as they’ve gotten bigger as the industry has grown, we’ve heard from more craft beer lovers that they’d like smaller events, too.
The IN Beer Brigade membership program offers the smallest events–like small-batch collab beer releases–for true craft beer connoisseurs, while Broad Ripple Beer Fest will be the most intimate full-fledged beer fest one we’ve held in many years.
And that means tickets for the fest will likely be gone before the big day, so get them now and before prices go up on Saturday. Already got ’em? Tell a friend!
7. There’s more.

Cheers to our partners!
