How do I get my membership card?

If you enlisted online, an email was immediately sent to your email address from info (at) with a link to download your digital membership card. If you enlisted in person at an event, you should have received an email within two business days of the event.

Please check your spam folder for the email before contacting us. If you’re using a work account, please ensure that info (at) is added to your employer’s safe senders list.

Once you’ve enlisted, you can access your membership card and other account info here.

Can I upgrade my base annual membership to a premium level?

Membership upgrades are not currently available.

What is the membership card?

The Brigadier membership card is digital and for use in Google Wallet and Apple Pay.

It will be scanned and your ticket to the beer release parties and other benefits, including rewards points in the loyalty program launching soon.

What is the loyalty program?

The loyalty program will allow you to earn points by doing things like tweeting, responding to surveys, and checking into participating breweries.

You’ll be able to redeem your loyalty points for Drink Indiana Beer merchandise.

Can I buy a membership as a gift?

You may. Each membership will have its own ID card unique to the owner. No single person may have multiple memberships. Membership cards will be scanned and IDs will be verified for 21+ age upon entrance to Brigadier events.

We’re working on making gift purchases easier, but for now, please contact us once you’ve placed your gift membership order so we can properly assign the membership card to your gift recipient.

Can I get a refund?

All membership purchases are final.

Can I exchange my t-shirt for a different size?

Please contact us for details on exchanges. Only t-shirts that haven’t been worn or washed may be exchanged. Please note that ladies’ v-cut tees run a size small, so order accordingly. While we cannot reimburse you for shipping costs back to us, we will pay for shipping a new shirt to you.

When will I get my glassware?

Glassware will be available for you to pick up at the party you choose to attend. If you can’t be at the party, you may send a 21+ proxy with your digital membership card. All membership cards will be scanned upon entry. Beer and glassware will not be shipped.

Where are the private parties, and when?

The private parties’ exact locations and dates are available here.

There will be at least one party every year in each of the 5 regions of the state: North West, North, Central, South Central, and South.

You can find info on each of the regions on the Drink Indiana Beer app (in the App Store and Google Play).

When will I get my ticket to the party?

If you’re a member, your digital ticket to the party is awaiting you at

What if I can’t be at any of the parties to receive my complimentary beer (premium members only) and glassware?

You may send a proxy as long as they’re 21+ years old and have your digital membership card on their phone. Beer and glassware will not be shipped, and will not be available outside of the release parties. Unfortunately, we cannot hold beer for later pickup or release outside of the private parties.

Can I buy extra tickets to the parties?

No: Every attendee must be an IN Beer Brigade member. Memberships will be available at the door for non-members who would like to join you.

Will Designated Drivers who aren’t members be allowed in?

Yes, but they must be 21+ with valid ID and will not be allowed to drink or purchase alcohol.

Can I buy extra packages of the collaboration beers?

We do not plan on making additional bottles available for purchase, but you may purchase pints at the private parties.

When will the 2017 and 2018 beers be announced?

As soon as details are confirmed. 2017 will be a Central Region collaboration beer brewed and packaged at Sun King, and 2018 will be Upland hosting a South Central collaboration brew of a sour beer (exact style and quantity to be announced).

I’m trying to add my membership card to Passbook/Apple Pay, but it’s not showing up.
