We are a small, locally owned craft beer taphouse and nano-brewery that got its start in a barn about 5 years ago. Our love of craft beer led to the purchase of a small home brewers’ system and Barker Brewhouse FKA “Hair of the Dog” was born. After hosting many parties, barbeques, and events, even a couple weddings, we started to dream of opening something on a larger scale. During our travels to other cities near and far it was evident that Evansville needed more breweries, taphouses and the like.

In our taproom, you’ll find a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where friends and strangers alike can come together to relax, celebrate special occasions, play games, enjoy live entertainment and experience a variety of unique beers crafted with care and precision. From classic styles to experimental recipes, we have something for everyone! Whether you’re a seasoned beer connoisseur or just starting your journey, our knowledgeable staff will be happy to guide you through our menu and help you find the perfect brew.

Our passion for beer and the Evansville community extends beyond our taproom walls. We are actively involved in our local community and take pride in supporting local businesses and organizations.
