Upland Brewing Company: Rare Beer Booth at Broad Ripple Beer Fest

Whether you’re a sour beer lover or ready to be converted, check out the rare beer booth by Upland Brewery at the Broad Ripple Beer Festival. 

In 2006, they traded beer for wine barrels from local Oliver Winery, and haven’t looked back. They’re creating dozens of new sours every year many featuring fresh fruits and unique flavor combination  

They’ve pulled three unique sour ales from the cellar created at The Wood Shop, their sour brewery where they’re continuing to innovate in traditional styles and experimental small batches.

Taste a cellared version of their Russian Imperial Stout, Teddy Bear Kisses aged in Kentucky bourbon barrels. The lucky few who cuddle up to Teddy Bear Kisses can sense the velvety malt character, balanced bitter intensity, and soothing chocolate notes created by long aging on fair trade cocoa nibs. Teddy Bear Kisses will make you feel warm and happy inside, but it’s definitely not your childhood cuddle toy.
